Hallo

Postby consumermonkey » Sun Sep 06, 2015 2:30 am

Hiya, y'all.

From darkest West Wales.

Been collecting partworks for years. Managed to complete a few too.

Currently working on the Millennium Falcon, Eaglemoss 3d printer and building the 3D Globe with my Niece.

Done the brass model solar system, moon and earth orbiter, DB5, ultimate real robots, three different radio controlled cars to name a few.

Incomplete, but in storage "Build the Bounty and the flying spitfire.

Have just seen the Back to the Future DeLorean and am trying to work out if I can afford it if it arrives.

Thank you all for your welcome.

Yes, same consumermonkey as over in DeAgostini.

I have bought partworks off and on since the mid 80's.

Sorry, never needed to learn our mother tongue. The Welsh teacher hated me so never had to learn it beyond first year of secondary school.

Sorry, I'm on nights at the mo, so restricted to iPad. Don't know how to post a link from the YouTube app. All I can say is check out Eaglemoss on YouTube. They put the video up on Friday I think. No audio though. Just had a go. Hopefully the link is this: http://youtu.be/CeJ1fSFjv8A please let me know if this works. Ta.

I work with disabled individuals. The DB5 was one I "assisted" with and takes pride of place above a person I work with's TV. He started buying the train set partwork about two years ago. I haven't worked with this guy as much as I would like, so we have hardly done anything with that yet. Originally it was fortnightly and must admit I wasn't looking forward to a four year commitment with him.

Hi C-monkey,
Your first name wouldn't be MARVIN by any chance ? (Vic and Bob)
Welcome from me too.

No, not Marvin, or indeed Morissey, but yep, that is the consumermonkey I have named myself after.

Off to see Vic & Bob live in Novemeber, hoping they will have the balloon-mouthed monkey there on stage too.
