Newbie saying hi

Postby Perra » Wed Sep 09, 2015 8:44 pm

Hi folks, I just found this forum which seems like a great place for meeting other guys with the same interests. I don´t have a lot of models yet, but below is a picture of the VR38 model from Eaglemoss that I built last year. No modding done to it. I also have the complete GT-R model, which I haven´t started building yet. If someone needs anything from Eaglemoss, please let me know as I have a great contact in Japan that helps me out.

Best regards,

Perra

Thanks Steve!

After reading some of the threads on the forum where other guys have built the engine, it seems like it´s unusual to get the dust cover with it? I guess I was lucky my contact could arrange it in Japan. :)

Thanks guys! Actually this is the first model I´ve done.

If anyone´s interested in the GT-R model, I´m willing to sell it. I can always get a new one from Japan. It´s a complete set of 100 packages. Never opened.

Thanks guys!

Casper: I´ve asked my contact in Japan. He´s going to contact DeAg and see what they say.

The next build will be the GT-R model, unless someone wants to buy it from me. :)

Thanks perra :)
I have found repro decals for the Honda on fleabay but was looking/hoping to get the Deag ones as they look so much better. They are available on the Deag Japan web sites but after emailing them a few time and not getting a reply I gave up

No problem. :) That´s interesting info about their website. I´ll inform my contact if he can´t buy from them directly. I guess it´ll work if they´re available, since he just calls them and talk to them. A bit harder for us foreigners. :)

Hi Perra,

Whilst the GTR was good to build, the matter of issues not being delivered or parts not working was a total annoyance to most of us in the UK, the engine was lovely to build, and SD even got me to do LED's for the plinth (I've never done that before)!!!!

On the above, I think that you can guess that we all encourage each other to do more modelling than we think on the forum.

Oh, very sorry, but I've not said welcome to the Forum!!!! :D

Hi Paul,

thanks!

I have the complete GT-R in stock, so no need to wait. Since I haven´t built it yet, I don´t know if I´ll run into any issues with it. We´ll see (unless I sell it). :)

Hi Perra,
The main issue in the UK was the Key Fob working.

I look forward to your GTR build, and many more!!!! :D :D
