Hey all.

Postby Borez » Sun Feb 14, 2016 10:11 pm

New here and relatively new to modelling. I started a few months ago after my counsellor ( for anxiety ) suggested I take up a hobby away from my usual pastime and job in the music business as a producer and live sound engineer which, at times, is damn stressful.

So here I am, and it's really helping.

Love my racing cars, especially Le Man's cars. Built 3 already; namely this Sauber Mercedes C9

This Porsche 962C

And my favourite, this GT40 MK11 P1015

And my next project is Derek Bells Rothmans Porsche 956 which I'm going to try and scratch-build the front end chassis from the Tamiya 1/24th kit.

So yeah, I've learned a lot over the last few months like, for example, airbrushing and scratch-building techniques. Still a lot to learn though and already picked up some great tips here.

So basically... hello :)

For anyone interested here's some more pics of my first 3 cars:

No I've never been to Le Man's, I'm unfortunately always away touring when it's running.

One day I'll make the pilgrimage though. ;)
