Jouko's Traction Avant 15 SIX 1954

Postby Jouko » Sat Mar 28, 2015 3:22 pm

First of all, I know that this can’t be 100 % accurate because form this Heller’s model you can build only 1949, 1951 or 1952 model. But despite this I’m going to do a 1954 model as well as I can.

It looked like this in 2013 when I stopped building.

Seats and doors from real leather 0.3 mm

Carpets, felt fabric 1.0 mm

Thank you Mark and casper. I haven't count hours, but I think that at least 100 - 150 hours in 2013. 8-)
Some progress will be coming this week. ;)

Edit. Typo

A little update to the project.

The seats fitted in place, as well as the luggage compartment trim. In front steering parts and in rear the axle and the tank in place.

Next, it's time for the front brake lines. But it's after Easter.

superb job jouko, would be hard to do it better - but as it's so very very near perfection I have a point, the rear grab loops look a bit too large to my eye...

and you must have a time machine if you were working on this in 3013 :D

Thank you ba. Those loops are large in original too. But maybe I put them a little too low. :?
And I do not have a time machine like Doctor Who has. ;)
Edited that typo in earlier post. :angry-banghead:
