Lego Architecture London

To be frank, I've not normally a lover of the Lego Architecture series. To me, they look a bit plain and seem expensive for what they are. However, I couldn't resist London !!

What's in the box ! Have to say, the quality of the box and instructions is superb. Mind, they should be when you're playing a premium for the kit !

We start with the base, somewhat predictably !

Nicely printed London label. No stickers in this kit :D

This is the finished base. They use the same trick of clear plates over dark bricks to give the water effect. Mind, I think the dark blue in the Ninjango set was more effective that the black of this set.

On to Tower Bridge. first the base goes down.

Then the towers

and finally the top.

Nothing particularly difficult or noteworthy to be honest.

The National Gallery comes next, and this is a very simple affair.

The London Eye completed

The Elizabeth Clock Tower (Big Ben, of course, is not included in the set!)

Nelson's Column

And finally, the completed scene. The yacht under Tower Bridge is a nice finishing touch.

A nice little kit. Easy to build and looks good on the shelf.

Not to keen on the light blue suspension cables on the bridge and no tension wires on the "Eye" other wise interesting kit ;)

Nope! Not available yet! They did have several Saturn Vs though, but their UCS Falcon display model has disappeared.
