Ninjago movie 70620 modular city

I can't wait to start this one
fantastic looking set with an abundance of colours and shapes. Box is pretty big, about the same size as the Death star.

The instruction manual comes in three parts and its very well laid out and a lot easier to use unlike the massive Death Star manual :o

Bag one completed :)
I love the way in the next part of the build the water (trans blue) tiles go over the river bed to give depth, great idea.

That set looks amazing Casper. I saw it in the local Lego shop, but only in the box - no completed model on display. I saw so tempted, but space is an issue when it comes to big models.
Really looking forward to your build. Very impressed with the water effect.
Cheers

Hi Mark
its a really great set to build because of all the different elements and its packed with colour and texture. The water looks amazing so we are going to try to moc the river onto some plates the same colour with a dock for the ship.
bridge built and the lower level and later the lift mechanism. its a joy to build unlike the Death Star, that was a little boring at times. Stickers are really cool and lots of them. got another sheet off Bricklink.

The brown piece above the window looks like axle springs

Brilliant way to make a curved roof  the bars fit to a solid bar and push down on the lower soft bar to create a superb feature

Agree, its a very atmospheric model. Hard to believe you can do that with Lego. The water effect is brilliant.
