1848 Stage Coach

Here's a little section of anybody who manages to find a really odd ball model that doesn't fit into any of the other catergories.

Hi Mustang,
I've only just seen this thread.
A few suggestions if I might be so bold.

1. Unless you come up with a better method for doing the roof, my template method https://mikebmodels.blogspot.com/p/this ... a-kit.html worked out pretty well, especially for spacing the stanchions and soldering the railings.

2. Under the front seat in the battery compartment, I glued a piece of foam to hold the battery and above it, directly under the seat, I fitted the reed switch from a security alarm door magnet, wired in series with the lights and the battery. The corresponding magnet had a strap glued to it and it is stowed away in the wooden box on the roof.
Holding the magnet over the driver's seat switches on the lights.
