Well, I won the auction for the Cutty Sark, so I guess the die is cast. There are several hundred ropes on a square rigged sailing ship. I wonder how many I can fit, and still retain what is left of my sanity :laughing-rolling:

I also picked up a cheap, unboxed, 54mm Airfix Pikeman, which might be plan B.
Cheers

Well if you start the rigging now, you should be done in time for next years comp.
The kiwi invented net gun might speed up the process a bit: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gaSxqxTmV1Q&feature=related
Just don't stand a stump while applying the 'rigging'

Mark if you are planning doing the rigging on this kit then I think the 1/24 Mossie might be a bit large for you to handle

Looking forward to seeing your build :D

Hi Grant,

Have you seen the size (or lack of it  ) of Mark's entry in last year's competition - now that really was small ! :)

I think that Mark & Casp bought them all up (so in their stashes), so this series is no longer available :( :( :(
