He looks a little better now but still looks like he has bad blood pressure
Flesh colours mixed from Vallejo white, red, green and yellow
still needs more work but almost done :)

Looks good Casper, a drop of a clear gloss or PVA should make the sight lenses look a little better

Hi Casp,

I know that you won't do it on this model but (sorry, I'm just feeling rather evil today    ).

But........... If you had larger model, and wanted this to appear to go into a big muddy "puddle" and have it full face on the Mutt and then on the sides of it, never mind the GI, How would you attack it? :) :) :)

The driver is coming on nicely Casper. Perhaps a dark flesh coloured wash on the face and hands might make the shadows look darker ? The uniform is looking very good.
Cheers

How about, as he's a "puddled" GI/ splashed with mud, a bit of a very dry brush with some brown paint ? :)

Hi Paul
I have added some more mud and dirty water to finish the mutt off. I was going to add some ballast to the bonnet but the clay i was going to use to make some bags has gone hard over time
I did add a little more flesh detail and dirt to the figure but i still think he looks a little pink
anyway here are the last couple of pics
thanks for looking :) casp

Thanks Mark ;) :)
Its a shame all the weathering done earlier has mostly been covered with dirt but it did look a little clean
I just gave up on the flesh tones and left the guy with a pinkish grin :)

Thanks Mark :)
The parts fit really well to be honest but the wheels touched the arches so the extra lift makes it look better.
Its a good job i checked while the glue was still soft so i could prize the area apart to push the extra rods in.
The wheels are really nice but look better with the holes drilled out with a 1.25mm drill in a pin vice

Great idea to drill the wheels, just done it to my Airfix 1 / 24 FW 190, looks a million times better. K awarded.

For something that takes a few minutes its well worth doing.
I remember BA mentioning it to Peter about drilling out the wheels on his amazing long nose Jaguar
