Hi All,

How to upload a photo/pic to the forum, is quite often asked by our newer members.

There are two main ways of doing it:

• Upload straight to the forum.
• Upload using another on-line facility (there are plenty of free ones available).

Uploading straight to the forum

• Easy and quick to do

• Not very easy to determine the file size to use if added straight in rather than in-line.
• If you hit a certain level of storage on the forum, then you’ll need to delete earlier ones, before you can add new ones.

Upload using another on-line facility

Pros:• No need to delete any photos off the forum if you hit the limit
• Easy to share with other on-line applications

Cons:• You have to up-load the photos to the on-line facility and then to the forum

On this thread, I’ll add more posts to explain how to do the above (with pics).

Kindest Regards

Either start a new post, or reply to one

You can either:
• Attach a photo/pic
• Place a photo/pic in-line

In both cases, click on the "Upload Attachment" Tab

By the "Filename" click on "Browse" to locate the file you want to upload (you can add a fie comment if you want).

Then click on "Add The File", when this has happened, you then have 4 choices:

• Place inline (this will add it within the text)
• Delete
• Preview
• Submit

If you click the submit button then the file will be added as an attachment.

If you click the place in line button, the photo/pic will be within the text on your post:

Hi Casp,
Ill check the new version later as well, as recently they've added some very small minor changes

looks pretty good on first view Paul, easy to copy and paste but i need to reduce the photo size for the forum
