Just my opinion.

I would be worried if otherwise (lack of views), it is nice to know people are taking an interest in the posts and that they are of great use regardless whether they reply or not. :D

I agree with royjess ! sometimes "nice build"/"tidy work" type comments can actually sound derogatory in some cases. I would much prefer a criticism than a banal generic comment, or of course a "K"

Hi Steve,

You are quite correct there :D As there has been many a time, especially with the DB5 and also the Pocher Lambo, where the constructive criticism has encouraged me to revisit and re-do different bits :D

Hi Royjess,

It's great that you've got so many views :D

The only time anything becomes a slight "problem" (if you want to call it that) is when there are a lot of posts on a build diary- mainly due to advise/comments and banter etc. :)

The way around that is to rename the first build and add e.g. "Part 1" to the first post, then start a new build diary, same name but "Part 2".

I hope the above makes sense !!!!! :)

Sorry Paul but I do not have a clue what you on about   but it is plain for all to see that royless is "blowing his own trumpet" I don't see the point in "watching" numbers, it's just people with nothing better to do

Royjess By your "tone" and "posts" ( copious as they are !) you seem to think you have the "lead" build ? thats going to change very soon :o ;)
Keep smiling :D :D

I know exactly what Paul means,. His excellent DB5 Build thread got very long so i suggested he split his diary into more managable posts. Worked a treat. :D
So if roy wishes to do that let us know and we can set up new threads and lock the previous thread.

Oh for the record im following royjess build diary so adding to his views. So I musnt have much to do.... :shifty:

So he should very proud of his build. Wish I had his skills at the moment. Keep up the good work mate  You could be rewarded... ;)

Makes no odds what views or comments on anyones build threads.

So keep everything nice on my awards thread, and revel in the spirit of the awards

My above comment was purely a tongue in cheek comment to look at the comical side and the consequences if everyone was to reply. No arrogance was ever intended :o ;) :D

I always welcome and appreciate any comments whether they are positive, critical, praise, ideas and of course some of those "K" thingy things. ;) ....

....and like wise, I always do the same for the other builds, and there are some fantastic diary's in the Pearl builders section and every one should be very proud of their own builds and I say that with great sincerity.

Only a few days left to vote folks !! I know there are some brilliant prizes for the winners, so come on, show your support for the forum. If you haven't voted yet, please do so.

I've heard a rumour that the more votes that are cast, the skimpier Miss Bomb's costume will be ;) (within the bounds of keeping our PG certificate of course ;) )
Cheers
