I toned the yellow and brown paint down with a dark brown wash, I think it looks ok now. Hope B.A doesn't spot the ejector pin marks

This is just dry fitted for now, just to see what it will look like, you will need to open out the holes in parts F01 and F02 for the cannons to fit through.

Thats all for now!

Coming on a treat  . I found that the holes for the guns needed to be enlarged, but found that the wing parts fitted virtually perfectly. Maybe a coat of paint would have made a noticeable difference, I am painting as much as I can during a dry fit and then touching up where required when the parts are glued.
I'm off to update my build now, nearly caught you up.
All the best, Steve..

A couple more parts added, I thought it would be easier to fit out the wheel bays before adding the top of the wheel bay in place I therefore jumped from stage 130 to 175 where I continued to stage 182 before going back to add the wheel bay tops

Image

Image

in the photo above I have added a dark brown wash to try and bring out the detail

and finally for now the wheel bay "top" has been fitted in place.

Thanks Mark, now the bad news, the instrument panel is glued in the wrong position, it should be a bit lower to enable the rest of the cockpit sidewalls to fit properly :angry-banghead:

Next Tamiya Xf82 ocean grey was sprayed on to the topsides and masked off for the Gunze H73 dark green

Once this had dried it was out with the masking tape ready for the white Tamiya Xf2
