It's all paint detaing so soft brushes, polishers, Polish, waxes, sealants etc

Will be used to good effect in my Nissan I reckon when it's finally finished.

I'm sure I can find something in the shed or garage

We'll you can always give Paul some painting tips on his Ladybird  sorry Beetle. :laughing-rolling: :laughing-rolling:

You'll be surprised what you find in the shed and garage, and then oh that would work great.

Back to Dave build ;)

Hi Dave,
With it being a 1965 kit, was it as bad as you originally thought with cleaning the flash off etc.? :) :)

In a word YES

I spent hours just cleaning the flash off, was a really dull job.

In comparisson the Zero is the complete opposite

So you think that loads of filler will be needed as well then?

I have used a load on the wheel housings already and judging by how the body halves go together I reckon it will need loads there too.

Overall the fit is not good, you can see I had to cut the pins of wings as they were not lined up when put into the holes.
The cockpit quality isnt anything to write home about either.

I think with the filler and nice paint job though it should look like a reasonably good model though 8-)

Will be trying some new techniques such as pre shading which I havent done before so hopefully that will work out too  :D

Hi Dave

Sound like a plan with the shading. Nothing tried nothing gained. ;)

I'm afraid not, not much has been done.

Unfortunately it got pushed aside with the Christmas period and then after that Yamato took over so I could get it finished
