Thanks for the continued interest Paul, Mustang, Morrigan. Always a pleasure to read other peoples comments on my build
Her are a few more photos of the very nearly finished kit................

The under carriage is now completely deployed (3 green no red) and the cannon covers are glued in place, all that remains is to touch up a few tiny blemishes on the paintwork and construct a small base.

It shouldn't take me too long to make up a little base, probably something on the lines of a small concreted section?
Cheers, Steve..

superb work Farrabass!

A little base sounds like a good idea, concrete would be about right, or perhaps some snow?

I think that trying to get a concrete base look right at this scale is more difficult than one might initially think, never mind snow

Thanks for the "K"s and the generous comments!
That's an interesting photo of the Horton glider, the shape of the undercarriage doors and the main wheel assembly are so different from this little kit I've done. I am just posting a couple more photos of the finished model now that the paintwork has been touched up, I'm still working on the finish for the base, I have the 6 inch square base cut and edged with mahogany strips and some concrete sections ready to glue down but, it may look a little too pink.

Any suggestion will be gratefully received, Steve..
