So that's it all finished.

What I've added is the following: -

Opened up the doors.
Added internal cargo.
Used Hairspray.
Used Talc.

And a lot of very bad words

So I hope you all enjoyed the journey.

Thank you Paul.

The Dio was made very easy.

1, A piece of ply wood was first painted with household white paint, with some lumps left in the paint.
2, Mixed talc with some Klear until it was like a thick power.
3, This was then added to the board with a paint brush in a dabbing motion ( the brush is no more :( )
4, Once this was all dry, I sprinkled some more talc over the dio and then sprayed hairspray all over the dio to seal it all in.
5, Once this was all dry, I used some white car primer to add some more depth of white to the overall look.
6, Then I just dry brushed some brown and grey to look like dirty walk ways to and from the plane.

Hi Ian,

That's very impressive :D :D as I now know that the Dio's can involve more work than the models !!!! :) :) :)

Thank you BA, it was a bit of a challenge getting it to fit together.

But the finished article does look great. :)

Hi Ian,

I'm just wondering if there might be a place on the forum for Dio's - assuming thet there isn't already one.

I'm sure if there isn't one, if you ask Mark he'll do one.

They can just go in the section that's relevant to the main model. I'm trying to limit the number of new sections as the forum is getting quite large now.

The model looks brilliant Mustang
Cheers
