Congratulations Ian. A worthy winner and a great effort. I think you said it was your first effort at doing a serious mod. :greetings-clappingorange:

First I would like to thank everyone that voted for the Arado and for all the very kind comments, :) and to thank all those that took part in the xmas comp and made it a fun competition. :)

There has been some great builds and some excellent mods and skills shown this year, so in a way we are all winners by learning or doing something new.

And a well done to Paul for arranging this years comp, he deserves a round of applause.

As Gundog says, this was my first effort at doing a mod like this. Normally the most mod's I've done on a kit is to use different aftermarket decals.

It was fun building this model and seeing what I could do to it. And thank you to DJG who did this model last year and showed us what could be done, all I did was take it to the next level.

Well done to Morrigan for coming a close second   ;)

I hope you all enjoyed the comp, and hope you are looking forward to next years one.

Well someone had to come first and someone had to come last, so at least everyone else didn't have to worry about being last   ;)
