Working Lancaster engines!

Postby tom1992 » Mon Aug 28, 2017 11:02 am

Hi everyone,

It's getting towards the time that I need to start thinking about my electrics for my working engines! I've got the motors and the propellers etc. And wired the wings up, what I'm hoping to do is have a realistic engine start-up sequence with accompanying sound! I've got a source for the sound (a sound module with a clip of the Lanx start-up from the dambusters film which I'll duplicate 4 times) the only thing I'm missing is a way of controlling the motor speed to realistically simulate the starter motor and then the firing of the engine into idle mode!

Has anyone got any suggestions/links to useful sources that can help me out?
Much obliged!
Cheers,
Tom.

BIGGEST IS ALWAYS BEST ;)

Try Action electronics, their stuff is now sold through the component shop, their website doesn't seem to be working at the moment unless it's my computer!
