I think that you are thinking of the bassoon, a buffoon is a clown :occasion-clown:

It's a well known fact that most parrots cannot stand Mozart's Concerto for two baffoons in D # Major, so there's your answer. :laughing-rolling:

Thanks Casper, Parrots usually bond with the one partner (Jess) and bite everyone else (Me).

However due to Jess mobility problems, I have to handle the birds, so they are use to me picking them up, fortunately I can handle most of the birds with out too much problems.

I used to be a professional buffoon. I was one when I met Jess and she had a phobia of them  I gave it up to become her full time carer as her condition deteriorated.

The birds are scared of the Darth Vader mask that I have, but Jess has a thing for Darth Vader, so if I put that on, its a win win situation ;)

Hasn't time flown? :o

Mind you I've been very busy this last few weeks and hopefully I'll be able to find a bit of time to continue with mine tonight.

I'm worried for those who haven't started their models yet, mind you, for those who haven't started or entered a build, it's still not too late to enter providing you can build one within the next 3 weeks.

Just got about 3 weekends (including this one) and just over two weeks to get all you models completed and posted on the entries thread.

That reminds me, I must get a move on with mine.

Time is ticking away with only 9 days (2 weekends) left before we call time on your entries for the comp.

Don't forget that I'll be calling last orders for comp entries this Sunday, so it's the last weekend to get those models finished and posted on the comp entries thread.

Photobucket is currently down at the moment, so fingers cross that it will be back up again by Sunday, don't worry if anyone is relying on Photobucket to post photos on here and the webpage is still down by Sunday, I'm sure we will sort something out.

Photobucket is back up and running and now with my new super fast laptop, it now shouldn't take me a couple of hours to post a few photos on here ;)

Not long now folks, don't forget that you've got just one more day to get those models finished and posted on the entries thread, so no pressure then!

To guarantee that you entry is valid, please ensure that you have your entries posted by midnight tomorrow (Sunday 31st) on the comp entries thread. Please note that I'll be needing my beauty sleep, so I probably wont actually be calling time on the entries and putting up the voting thread until later on Monday morning. So don't worry too much if you miss the midnight dead line by a couple of hours or if you are living in a different time zone.

Good Luck!

Roy :)

We are less than 24 hours away from opening up the voting thread for you all to cast your votes for your favourite Christmas comp model entry.

Jess and I have the difficult decision to decide on how many votes will be allowed to be cast per voter

Last year we were allowed to vote for more than one entry, but we did have a lot more entries last year due to a couple of us including myself entering more than a dozen of models

I'm thinking of allowing 1 vote per voter (or even up to 3 votes depending on the final number of entries) what are your thoughts?

Jess and Roy :)

Always a tough question Roy  I got a couple of favorites, but i think you can only have one winner. In the model shop i choose the one that comes home sadly no second prize :violin:

Don't forget, you've only a week left to cast your vote for the model that you would like to be crowned this year winner. The voting have been very close this year with the leader changing several times, so if you haven't cast your vote yet, the final outcome can still change!

Good luck!
