3 card ships (a'sailing?)

Postby Sojourner » Wed Nov 11, 2015 6:54 pm

OK, here's my entry: 3 card ships all in the one kit from Marcle Models - £12-95 .
Cargo ship "Rio De Janeiro, Submarine "Orzel" (which sunk RdJ), and Minesweeper " Schurbek".
All 1:400 scale.
Roy: can these count as one entry, as they are one kit?
Just sent off order, so eagerly awaiting postman. :)
Building: Hachette Flying Scotsman,Micromodels Old London Bridge, plus several others started.1:1 Canadian canoe.
Stash: Hachette Mallard, more Micromodels, loads of other stuff

You can enter these as three separate entries as you are allowed up to three entries. You could always build all three ships and then choose your best one to enter.

As for entering them all as one build, I will have to consult the rule maker on that one. I'll let you know soon.

I'll look forward to your build(s).

Yes in the spirit of Christmas, and considering these are one kit, yes you can build all three models as one diorama and enter these as one entry.

Postman finally brought the kit....
No box/contents, rather an A4 book with pages of card to cut out.

7 pages, Mark, mostly for the 2 ships, not so much for the sub.
A rough count - about 200 pieces for each ship, 100 for the sub.

I agree, Roy, that's the one I'm most looking forward to making.
