I decided to build the 1/72 Revell Fokker DVII

What colour scheme are you going for ? Looks like there is a decal for the outlines of a lozenge cameo pattern ?

Well, I'm envious, I almost wish I'd chosen this one, especially as the glue and paint came with it.
Building: Hachette Flying Scotsman,Micromodels Old London Bridge, plus several others started.1:1 Canadian canoe.
Stash: Hachette Mallard, more Micromodels, loads of other stuff

was just going to build this one as per box art, didn't realise it had Lozenge decals. wouldn't know where to start with a camo like that :think:

first thing was to clean up the pin marks :whistle: this thing is covered in them

And then give the cockpit a quick coat of canvas brown so i can glue the two parts together

Lower wing and tail section also cleaned up and glued in place :)

Gaps filled and sanded back.
Its a good idea to mark the join with a pencil or felt tip before sanding so you can see it disappear as you sand it
