my challenging Xmas build

Postby corelki2005 » Wed Dec 02, 2015 3:52 pm

After getting the OK from the powers that be, here is my entry

Image

Its a 1990 kit so probably will have fit problems and maybe a lot of filler may be required.

hopefully I will finish this in time!

on to the parts

I do have to major problems to start with:-

1 the instructions are in German only, no English at all on packaging or inside.
2 no painting guide

So looking forward to this build.

Instructions are for wimps anyway and I believe you can get 'Portland' filler by Blue Circle in bulk :laughing-rolling:

On the bright side, there is no painting guide to misdirect you. What would we do without Google :D

Good luck Nick !
Cheers

A brilliant choice, it is so refreshing to see a good variety of builds entered this year. I'm certainly looking forward to this build.

What a great choice, there was one of those made up at Yeovilton's last show and it looked really good...............Tony

I have managed to fill the gap somewhat, doesn't have to be perfect as it is hidden inside the next bit

Well done in filing that large gap, I hope that you got plenty of filler left over for the remainder of the build :laughing-rolling: ;)
