Ooh errr, I just realised I am behind with this!

Well, since the last pic I have painted some edging Gold and dry brushed some dark aluminium onto the visible piping.
However my attempt at paining the recessed parts red ended up royally screwing up :superlglue: and now I have a pink knee which is fairly obvious. I will be painting the whole part to hide the fact, or may give it a shadowy black wash. Either way :angry-banghead:.

Otherwise, I just need to finish the recesses and he's done!

That pink knee could earn you a brownie point from Jess ;)

Dry brushing finished. This is my first dry brushing attempt but luckily it's an easy skill to pick up (even for me)

The model looked too clean when first finished, so I have added in some battle effects using flat black, gun metal, aluminium and silver. Also the pink knee has been permanently enshrined (I'll take them browny points now Roy / Jess  )

It's hard to see in the pic but theres a few dents in the blade now, and a sun of red down the edge / tip.

Thanks Roy / Jess. It was a first for me and I really enjoyed making it and I don't think I would have picked it up unless the comp spurred me to do it. Now I have the bug to add more to the collection!
