and they're still worth it if you're new to an area like ship building. Couldn't have made the progress I have using the instructions in an Artesania Latina kit.

Look at it this way, Hachettes price is only 5 packets of cigarettes a month and you don't have to sweep up the mess but have a pretty good model to display. Trumpeters model is good but too much to pay for in one go.
