For aircraft carrier lovers out there .... Newsflash!

News Flash! ... dah dah dit dit....

Trumpeter have on their facebook page posted a few pages of their new catalogue and if you look carefully there is Both USS Yorktown (CV5) and USS Enterprise (CV6) slated as new releases and in a whopping 1/200!

Now is the time to start saving. This things will be big and not cheap. ATM there is no official release date or price, but expect something around £250 given previous large scale ship releases.

Of course, Pocketbond are the sole distributor for the UK so there's no doubt that it will be a lot.

I will keep my eyes on these. There is a hope for an Ark Royal in 1/200 though!

As an addendum to my previous post, Trumpeter have put up their 2017-2018 catalogue on their Facebook page.

Ship lovers - besides the 1/200 offerings above, there are a host of 1/350 ships coming including a lot of aircraft carriers and battleships.

Aircraft lovers are excited at a whole new selection of MIG 29's in 1/32.

Dark side builders (armour) have a host of 1/35 kits heading their way including tank transporters, rocket launchers and a whole range of Russian armour and soft skins. Their 1/16 range was once again joined before Christmas by their unannounced 1/16 Jagdtiger and has proved to be a hit with no stock at all in the UK.

However, their panthers, Abrams and T-72's remain in the catalogue and on the horizon.

This is what they have in their catalogue. What they haven't announced and sneak in could be very tasty.
