looks just like a radial engine plane should, oily and lived in.

I think its just about finished now apart from the two rudders at the rear of the floats, one was lost so i need to make two the same from tin sheet.
I also noticed the canopy has a frame line missing in the middle :doh:

Thank s for your comments :) had fun with this one.
though i did have a problem when finally glueing the floats in place, the two contact points popped up in the square fixing holes on the rear struts and stuck tight so instead of trying to remove and redo them I left as is.
I have been thinking about a base of sorts to put it on, my first idea was to build a catapult but time wouldn't allow it then i thought of a trolley but don't have any suitable wheels :think: :doh: so because time is short I may try some sort of sea scene.... :think:

well thats it I think apart from a stand (work in progress)
was a lot of fun doing the weathering and painting and the old kit was pretty good to build (thanks Ian :) )
took a few pics on a mirror :)
