The elevator cars 1 and two. There are actually four of these so there are still two to build yet.

Front of Thunderbird 2. All functions are still working although I have yet to fit the 8 channel IR unit to control them all.

Made a start on the Thunderbird Launch Bay! Made from light 5mm foamboard! This is the main box section which will be the main wall sections that all the bits will be glued to inside!

Its absolutely huge even in 1/144 scale! Measures 85cm long X 62cm wide X 40cm high! The left hand wall will be open and the front will not be fixed so it can be removed to see the inside!

This is what I hope it will look like when completed. There's a lot of work involved!

Didn't use glue but used a strong glue based tape! It holds really well! The parts inside though will have to be glued and I recon the best way will be to use super glue on the smaller parts and a hot glue gun for the bigger parts! As for the girders I know someone who has a 3D printer and is making me some! I will need quite a few but he's only charging me for the cost of the plastic extrusions! Here is a picture of the first test run of them so far next to one that is 350th scale!.

Could be worse! I've got to work out the dimensions of the insides and how and where to fit certain parts! I've managed to down load quite a few pics of the inside of the loading bay and also looked at videos! There's a lot of work to do! Its also going to be lit with LEDs and have an operating loading shoot for the pilot!
