Missing wires?

Postby snapdragon » Sun Jan 20, 2019 7:02 pm

Ok chaps.

I am on issue 91 and ready to connect all the wires up and join the upper and lower halves of the car.

However on step 19 you have to feed a Red and Yellow wire from the bottom through a hole in the top.

OK! What Red and Yellow wire?

What issue number was this wire in and what does it fit to?

James

This had me stumped for a few minutes, and then after checking all the wires the one I was left with was a yellow and brown one which we received with issue 56 ( part 56I) and connects to port 21 on the pcb. And as you can see, at the moment doesn't connect to anything, I am assuming that it either lights up the Mr Fusion reactor or the two large ducts either side of the reactor.

I hope that helps.

Connections done and there is nothing outstanding!

There is an unused connector on the outside edge of the board but I can't see the number on the board.

Time to go surfing on the Modelspace forum!

Ok.

I can't find my issue 56 at the moment.

So, what parts came with issue 56 and as all the wiring is numbered what is the number on the wire that I may be missing or may have to take the car apart to find out where it has gone!

James

If you could work out which one is missing from this picture and the info in previous post I will be able to help.

If its on the left side then it will be either 13 or 23, if it is on the right side then it probably is the power connector

I'm going to have to take apart the back end so I can get a look at the panel.

This I will do tomorrow!

FOUND IT! :D :D :D :D

Wire number 21 yellow and orange!

It had got folded back underneath the centre section. All I had to do was undo the 4 screws holding the cabin in, lift it up a bit and there it was! :laughing-rolling:

Panic over, stress levels reduced back to "normal" and it is time for a cuppa and then an argument between the Delorian lower half, upper half.... And me!

For me this is the hardest part of the build and usually causes :angry-banghead:

Thanks for the help!
