andrew's e type

Postby Andrewyzfr6 » Wed Oct 25, 2017 11:04 am

i got bored at the weekend(ive broken ribs so not allowed mountain biking for a few weeks) so thought id take a look at an e type wheel for "fun"

i started the first part(part 4) with blue tack instead of tape. worked ok, until i tried doing the 2nd part (part 5) , where a few popped out.. Start again, but when i returned to part 5 i used superglue applied sparing using coctail sticks while waiting for the last to dry before doing the next. im still clearing evidance of blue tack......

there is still a bit of blue tack showing on wheel, and needing removed.

part 3 done, horn pushed on. that was difficult haha

Both wheels look fantastic !!!

Hat's off to DeAg, they really pulled the stops out with the spoked wheels
Cheers

Its a shame they are different to the Aston Martin because they would look great fitted to the Aston!

That is because the steering gear is going to go into that area.

Yep. Eagle 36 is right. Once the steering box and shaft are fitted you fit and tighten a screw into the remaining strut!
