Added in the sliding glass and the ammo belt to the waist gun - I struggle to get a smooth belt install with these items - I always end up with small 'wrinkles' in the belt :angry-banghead:
Anyway, now to the stbd fuselage half and then hopefully join them together with no seam work to fill/repair :laughing-rolling:
(sorry for the smaller photos - I'm still internet impaired at home...)

thanks guys :D - struggled a bit getting the halves to close completely - a lot due to the stuff/mods added inside - Also got to see what I can do about the gap in the removable nose section - Cant get her all the way home, which is probably due to not getting the halves completely closed... :?

Continued the roof section - but will have to clean some of the bulkhead tops and the nose section interference fit areas - everything is a bit gappy right now. Even cut back on cable runs etc. as I'm afraid my eyeball measuring of the wiring / piping areas may interfere with getting the fuselage bits to stay fully home... :? Don't misunderstand me, this model is awesome and fits together as well as a Tamiya - really enjoying it - just that it taxes my limited abilities at times :(

Finishing up the upper roof section except for some decals, lights - cut in the tail de-icer boot some more... - haven't figured out how to run an ammo belt from the radio room gun yet as it has to be removable...On to the tail gunner section now...

And finished the tail gunner section - on to the rudder and elevator(s) next - then catch up on more decals before moving onto the turrets...

Assembled / painted the top turret - 21 piece sin that assembly alone! Added the non-skid paper to the gunner platform too...Will mount the guns later as per the instructions as I keep breaking them off and both pitot tubes - lost one of them.. :angry-banghead:
