My build of the year

Postby snapdragon » Fri Apr 26, 2019 10:17 am

It is now obvious that I am not going to be able to get all the extra parts that I want and build the Lancaster in time. This I am sorry for as I really wanted to do it for this competition.

However, for next year's comp then it is a cert!

For this year's competition I would like to team up Amusing Hobby's Strabocran 16t with one of the following

RFM cutaway Panther with full interior
RFM Jagdpanther with Full interior
Meng's Models Tiger II with initial turret and interior kit.

If this is acceptable, then I am willing to let the community choose the tank. Building will commence after the Shinden is completed.

James, I'm partial to Panthers myself, but they're a popular subject right now - That Tiger II might be pretty neat....(sounds like fence sitting doesn't it!)

That’s fine as an entry James. The Tiger 2 does sound interesting, and Meng models are a dream to build.
Cheers

When I was young I had a long haired Syrian Hamster named "Rastus". It was like watching a carpet move!

I thought Wingnut would put his choice down, but it looks like the Tiger II wins!

This means that the following will be in the build:

I might also add this

I will also source some metal tracks.

The others I have in are:

Yes. It is not cheap either, considering what it is! Resin Too!

About £32 for that!
