The Results!!

I'm please to be able to announce the competition results.

Drum roll please.........

In third place, Roy, with his stunning, and extremely small T gauge railway.

In second place, James, with his even more stunning Lancaster. The opposite end of the size scale, and a most impressive model, Well done James on your second place.

The winner is......

Pregnant pause, in TV reality show style.......

Morris with his Memphis Belle. A truly outstanding model. Congratulations Morris.

Thanks also to the honorary mentions (there were quite a few) to the 2 almost completed bikes!

Congratulations to all three finalists. The standard was very high, and it was very difficult to choose between them.
Thanks to all who took part and all the members who took the trouble to vote.

I hope the winners have prepared acceptance speeches

I hope you enjoyed the competition as much as I have. There are a few good entries promised for this year's competition. I'm looking forward to a good turnout again.
Cheers
Mark

Congratulations Morris, a truly well deserved win.

Thank you for all those who voted and to those who voted for my Lancaster. Must try harder this year!

Truth to tell, HK's Lancaster doesn't have as many AM update sets as the B-17 which always does make a difference but they can turn out to be stunning builds with a bit of care and attention.

Congratulations to Roy for the railway in small scale and to those who joined in but didn't quite make it for one reason or another. No blame can be laid apart from real life which often gets in the way of what we would rather be doing!

Looking forwards to the 2020 event and hope that this keeps going!

Well done Morris, what an amazing build from beginning to end, a truly worthy winner

Well done to Snapdragon for coming runner up, well deserve

It was a shame that the bikes never made completion in time, but these would have been strong contenders.

All winners in my eyes.

Well done all and and a big thanks to Mark for running the comp
