Roy's Entry - Bandai Star Wars X-Wing Starfighter 1/48

Postby royjess » Thu Jan 02, 2020 6:13 pm

I'm currently waiting for my kit to arrive from Japan (hoping that it's the genuine one and not a rip off fake  )

In the mean time, can you guess what it's going to be?

LOL at Casper's guess!

You should be safe buying from Japan. I haven't heard of any fake products coming from there.

The Robot from Short Circuit?

Seriously, although this is alien (??) territory for me, I look forward to your entry, because going by your past work, it will be good.

Yes, it will be a Japanese import, so will whittle the brand name down ;)

Other than that, the wrong scale and not the Incom corporation T65 X-Wing Space superiority fighter

I think I owe you an apology  I've just spotted on the box image the sub words "Incom corporation T65 X-Wing Space superiority fighter"

So yes you were correct in a previous post.

I was initially going to subscribe to the DeAgostini X wing (not for the BOTY comp) but decided that I don't have the room here for one. So I decided to go for the next best thing, not only does this move, but it also have lights and I also believe that it has sound effects too.

The scale is also similar to my DeAgostini millennium Falcon.

I'm not sure what I be doing with the build or if I be doing a Diorama for it, but I will probably decide when it arrives and I start to build it.

Green Strawberry only seem to do extras for the 1/72 version, unless I missed something?

This looks like a great kit. I’ve been tempted, but resisted it so far.....
Cheers
