Replaced the water tank and added the new voltage regulator to the off driver side passenger bulkhead…I had to grind off the kit representation.

Started part 14 - pack 56 was the spare tyre…

Pack 57 was the outside half of the wheel….

Pack 58 was the inside half of the spare and the securing harness. I supplied the decals. The wheel sections are pressed together. The tyre is softened again as the others, by immersion in boiled water for 5 min to make it pliable.

Whilst looking at gearbox pictures on the net, I figured that I would need to enhance the paint work a touch…

Whilst waiting on next shipments, I mounted the front wheel assemblies and test ran the engine’s sound by inserting batteries in the oil tank reservoir. Then depressed the accelerator. All okay. I’m still to run brake lines to the front callipers…

I agree wholeheartedly…I’m so frustrated right now. November 2021, pack 16 was my last delivery….after multiple emails and calls from December until February, I finally received pack 19…I ve been again, chasing 17 & 18 over and over. 18 arrived today. I’m now on the horn about 17 again… :angry-banghead: :angry-banghead: :angry-banghead: anyway rant over, sorry Mark to fuss on this issue with DeAg…or ModelSpace..

No problem at all. Lots of people are having problems with them. It's almost like they are trying to commit commercial suicide! I too have had issues with a purchase of a complete kit, and ended up cancelling the order after a 3 month delay and no sign of a delivery date. I wouldn't purchase anything from them now.
Cheers

I still have no news on the remainder of my parts for the GT40 - I have only got packs 1-18 and no information on the remainder.
Anyone know what is happening ?
This company is not worth dealing with in future, I have had enough. The GT40 will be my last subscription.

Do you use Facebook? If so, there is a Facebook group for the DeAg GT40 build. Make a post there and tag Mark Adams. He's the ModelSpace forum admin and may be able to let you know what's happening.

I don't use facebook, but many thanks
I am tempted to buy up the remaining parts from Journaux.fr in France, but as DeAg don't answer any emails I need to stop them taking my subs first . A truly nightmare company, I am now hoping Agora become the UK supplier for all new artworks if that is possible, they deserve the business. They are customer focussed.
