On one of our admin buildings we've changed the air con units for the server rooms to evaporative units.

The initial results are amazing not only with reductions in CO2 but a 2 year payback as well. :D

Hi Paul,
it is amazing what you can save when you start looking into the latest tech. When we get the solar linked up I will get heat stores installed . when there is electric going to the grid it will divert it to heat the water in the heat store thus saving oil for the underfloor heating !

Hi Glenn,

it sounds a really amazing project that you are undertaking :D :D :D

As I deal with utility companies at work, for my sins! :angry-banghead: :laughing-rolling: , can I ask that you take monthly import and export reads and submit them (if you can) as I do know of people that have had roof mounted PV's installed and they were incompatible with the existing meter and subsequently had horrendous bills......!!!!!

Kindest Regards

Paul

Just need the utility company to install the 100KW 3 phase transformer and get the link up done.

It's looking excellent Big G !!!!! :D :D :D

I'm surprised that the utility company didn't put the supply there though in the first instance, after you had the go ahead etc. :)

A lot of red tape Paul. Got the transformer and poles changed last Friday 18th July. They fitted the import export meter on Tuesday and the solar panel company started doing the hook up today so should be up and running tomorrow  . I will put up pictures of all the electrics etc. at the weekend.

Hi Glenn, are you going to be able to get that all automated? :)
