Did you have problems with the wing tips and getting them shaped correctly?

Drove me to distraction!

Looks like you did a good job of sorting out the mistakes. Lucky break with the Tiger tank !

It took me 3-4 years to complete mine if i remember correctly, I hated the small parts of painting, they are rough round the cockpit! But I do have another full set of parts with the superstructure of the fuselage mainly completed. It has never flown, but it might one day! I bought an electric high wing trainer aircraft to start me off, but it has not made it out of the box yet! I'll try to post some photos of the Spit, but I lost the few I took of the build when my old computer crashed.[img][img]

The nose cone is damaged the most, I think I actually need to get another one, or just build the other one I have!! The prop is in a box with the starter and radio gear etc.

That's a pretty impressive model. Looks good. I've heard that they fly quite well, in the hands of an experienced pilot !
Cheers

hi if you built the spitfier tue way the instrutions tell you. it will be under power
the ful tank is in the wrong place.

it needs to be in line wint the moter or it will starve & stall. allso on my spitfier i
have put survos in each wing left wright. plus the tail plain servos are at the back
so the it is direct control no pushpull rods. much more stabul flight ;)

Hi all, anybody got the build info for one of these,? I lost them when I moved house, and while I've got the main parts built up, I need to find out how to finish setting up all the small bits, Weights, cowl, control rods and so on.
Any help greatly appreciated

Cheers mate, that would be brilliant, it's mostly the control rod sections and engine setup I'm missing. Also I think I'll need the info for the wing servo and mountings, can't remember if I was supposed to cover with a sheet of balsa the middle section of the wing, leaving just a hole for the servo. Any help and pics would be really helpful

Hi mate

I got as far as one complete one, until it flew like a brick one day.

But got a whole new one of  bay.

If you look at my stash photos you can see the whole of the bottom of one cupboard is taken up by the Spitfire.
