started on this at the end of last year. not finished yet but here,s my progress so far...

the kit, fresh from E-bay...

this is my resin pilot that I bought for it...

yeah, quite big really.

OK, here's the rest of the build so far....

started putting the skin on the first wing half...

i decided NOT to use the heat-shrink finish provided with the model. im going to give it a light fiberglass coating that will allow me to paint it like a giant model. i think this will look better.

bought some of this and it seems to be working fine...

using the fiberglass coating means i have to skin it a bit different to the instructions, basically to cover up all the holes...

im also mounting the aileron servos in the wings so needed to make boxes for these...
