Spitfire finally finished

Postby jjones1980 » Mon Oct 20, 2014 1:46 pm

Hi Guys, thought I would share.

I inherited a set of Diag Spitfire build instructions and most of the part. Missing bits included issue 56, 57, the leo engine and the receiver.

I managed to get some missing issues and parts off Ebay, but couldn't get hold of issue 57. Thanks goes to Chill for copying the missing instructions.

So here are the results of 2 months worth of the misses complaining that our dining room table was out of action

The most eagle eyed of you will notice a slight modification to the engine position, I had to rotate the mount slightly so that the exhaust came out of the side, as the Leo engine I got off ebay didn't come with the exhaust extension.

Secondly I had to get some stick back plastic and create the missing Decals From issue 57 that I didn't have.

Haven't started it up yet, I'm unsure if I will ever fly the thing as I know not how.
