Cheers Casper and thank you N1 sorry I missed your post :(

Anyway the parts have all been fitted together, after some fine sanding and fiddling.

Bomb bay was :superlglue: at the far end and the other end was only fixed in place with :superlglue: once I had aligned the two kit part together as the locating parts had to be removed. The cockpit was also left loose until I could aline the Aries part with the kit. But got there in the end.

Up next will be all the wood decals and aluminium parts.

This is going to take a little while  so I won't be posting any photos sections by sections, I'll just post some once I've finished covering the fuselage section.

See you soon ;)

Me too !!

You've done a cracking job beating the resin details into submission. They are not for the faint hearted !!
Cheers

Hi Gundog, thanks for looking in. It shouldn't be to long as I'm doing it from what I can see in photos showing the wooden panels.

Hi Mark, the resin parts once I learned to be careful with them worked out ok. ;)

Here we go, the Uschi wood decals.

I started from the front and worked my way down, but working one side then the next.

Just the decals

Add a light coat of oil paint.

Realised the following day that I did the first parts to long, but don't worry just cut where you want the decal to finish with a new blade and gentle remove the area you don't want.

Then just add the new parts.

As you can see I did this in squares. The darker colour is just where I've placed another piece over the top to add contract for the joining area.

Now I've changed the shape.

I'll post some more later tonight. ;)

So this is how she looks at the moment this is just the decals, I've still to add some oil paints and then seal it all. So tomorrow I'll paint it and will then look at the wings while the oils dry.

Again the darker looking areas are just where I've laid another piece over the first piece.

The join at the front looks worse in the photo then to the eye, but most of this will be hidden by the wings so I'm not that worried at them.
