this is simply superb, I think I'll need to nick most of the modifications for my future build...

Cheers guys.

Of course b_a use what you want, I found most of the bits I'm doing from loads of researching on the web.

The flightpath bits are good but in my opinion some of them seam to large, and I've had to deduce them somewhat.

I'm spending more time researching areas of the aircraft as these loads missing. :(

This is the engine as per the instructions except the colours, I've redone the brown and grey areas in colours that I preferred.

I've not glued the top part on yet as the main engine section has to be rotated when I insert it into the fuselage.

I'll be adding more cables to this later.

Had a play around with the top section, managed to split it into two still needs another bit removed.

Image

I also removed the slot on the right hand side one, reason being I'll be adding some fine grill mesh to it.

Image

But there's still more work to do to these parts before I do that.

Been adding lots of brass bits, but I didn't want them sitting on top so I've removed the area where the parts will go with a fine blade so the parts sit level.
Image

Forgot to take a photo before I added this bit, the kit has very little detail here. The kit doesn't have the grill area or allow the see though part.

Still need to add some more mesh to this area above and below.

Added detail to the machine guns.

The white metal parts come in the flightpath set, the bit in the middle is the kit part?

Image

I've also drilled out the cooling holes.

I've also added the centre rail, covers and air intakes. The only parts that where in the upgrade kit was the ariel base plates.

This is the mesh I've used.

And these are the bits I used to make the air intakes.

Second air in take done.

Three mesh parts added and the rear vertical jet control.
