Cheers Morris, I'm not as quick as you when building :laughing-rolling: your last one inside a month :o

I'm still working on this 4 months later :laughing-rolling: oh well might get it done some time next year

Need to make sure my next one is a straight forward OFTB build :liar: that would happen aftermarket bits again :(

Cheers Steve. It's been fun trying to workout how to make the bits I wanted. Still have to work on fire wall, rotor unit, rotor head, stow the blades and rear tail unit. But I can't put the cockpit in until I've worked all that out in case I need to add weights to counteract the blades. I have designed and printed new rotor blade fixtures where the blades join the head unit but still building up the nerve to cut the blades as once cut no going back

Loving your work Ian superb stuff
looking forward to seeing the rotor blades with the new printed fixtures

So I've added detail to the engines

Internal section scratched built

The small blue bit I realised was in the wrong place later on so that was removed. :angry-banghead:

Main roter unit as per the kit.

Added some detail and removed the front support arm as the kit puts it in the wrong place.

The centre wall as per the kit, except for the round piece at the front which I added.

Added some detail, and placed the front engine support where it should have been.

Then onto the rear section of the engine compartment.

These two parts are wrong, the right one should be in two parts and the left one should only be one single piece.

So after some cutting I ended up with these.

Added some detail to the top section

This is how it looks at the moment, all the bits are just dried fitted.

This is where It stands at the moment, I have started on the two front engine cowlings and the rear section that slides back so more later.

That is unless the Pocher kits take over
