1/192 HMS Victory

A start made. This is the first build diary I've attempted - I have only a basic "point and shoot" camera, so the pics will probably leave a lot to be desired.
However. I'm using Arthur Bugler's reference book and set of 1/48th plans, scaled down by the tedious method of measuring and dividing by 4. The plan sheets are far too large to fit on any photocopier for reduction. Fortunately my local library has the book and plan set - used copies available on Amazon for £240!!!
Anyway, some card templates - I'm building the hull "bread and butter", rather than plank on frame. Apart from the gun ports, little of the interior will be seen below deck level.
(I originally started a 1/384 model, but my old eyes are struggling at that scale. :) )

Incidentally, here is the 1/384 version - I may continue with it as a change from the larger stuff...... :lol:
