Nice looking kit.

I've got the Halcyon kit, which has the Alien warrior standing next to a egg. :)

Have to agree about the films, I've got the Blu-ray box set with extended footage worth every penny.

Love watching them when everyone one else is out, just switch on the sound system and just turn it up. :D

Hi mustang :)
thanks for looking in matey
Just a bit of fun really but as its for my bro inlay (Inlaw) predictive text :angry-banghead: i couldn't resist. I have a massive Hulk kit that i will be starting after other projects are finished but this is a very basic kit and shouldn't take long to put together.
think the hardest part will be painting. I fancy using a green candy coat over black base coat, not sure yet

As you can see from the instructions its vary basic and not that well detailed, looks like a guy in a suit :laughing-rolling: Oh yeh, it is

I'll be watching your painting process, mine's been sitting in it box for about +20yrs.

Built the model but stopped at the painting stage, as back in the days I wasn't sure how to paint it in order for it to look great Alclad paint wasn't around at the time nor was Valajo paints.

I just had enamels and I never got on with using enamels, so the model was reboxed until I found some better paints and then I just forgot about it until you posted your one

Hi mustang :) group build ;) mine was a gift at first
I don't like enamel paints either even though i have quite a few i never use them. Looking on the internet he should look like dark toffee with the clear head cover in transparent brown
The parts all have flash and sharp edges and after gluing the head first I can see some filler and careful sanding will be needed especially on the head

Hi Casper.

I've found a link to the one I have, http://www.avpgalaxy.net/forum/index.php?topic=48293.0 it's the second photo down if I remember right.

Yours is the first photo.

wow they look amazing, love the egg. thanks for the link :)
I think yours is much better by far, the arms and legs are much better and it looks more natural if you know what i mean. Mine sort of stands funny
the stand with the egg looks really good in this photo, all wet and sticky. I decided to glue the inner jaw just inside the mouth instead of having it go in and out

I see what you mean about the way yours stands.

To me it looks like the belly area is wrong and could have been bent a little forward and slimmed down.

It looks like he's had a large dinner :laughing-rolling:

Nice pic of Bolaji Badejo the guy the suit was made for.
Ridley wanted the suit to be "as thin as a contraceptive and as strong as nylon"

Hi Ian :)
Sorry for the late reply, had a flu bug
I don't think i will use Alclad with this one  I was thinking bone colour for the human skull and ribs and some transparent black. I was thinking of using Tamiya smoke. The GAIA clear black looks interesting
