Model Space RC Tank Russian T-72 modified

Hi everybody ,
thanks for your kind Rezeption

Just wan´t to show up what is possible with watertransferprinting

This was my second Model i modified by Watertransferprinting. The Model Space Russian RC T-72. I wanted to change the Camouflage. I do not want anything off the shelf, so I start my modified T-72 tank. I did it once with the Hummer H1,and it was nice to do something else instead of working with Paint. From the first deliveries on i changed everything. Firstly i decided which Camouflage to use. Ordered what I needed then started. The figurine was the first Detail I changed. Ground color Brown. Also I had to change the angles off the arms, and painted the face new. Important using by using any camouflage or foils with other patterns it is necessary to look of the angles of the Printing foil. Every foil must show in the same direction. While dipping it is important to use rubber gloves. To remove these camouflage from your hands without wearing gloves it take hours :) The nice thing is, when you make a mistake while dipping a part it does not matter. Just glean the faulty part, dry it ,cut a new foil and dip it over again.

As you can see on the pictures there were several Plastic parts which did not look realistic. Like the log they delivered. It was Plastic,so I changed into real wood. They also delivered a Target Wall, just a wall?. So I decided to built I little Barn to make it just a little realistic.

Finally you can see what is possible to do without Painting.
It was I nice Project, gave me the possibility to learn more about using Watertransferprinting.

Cheers
andreas

Do you use acrylics to stain or colour your wood on building Andreas, I have been experimenting with ISO and Ink mixes and wire wool and white vinegar but struggling to get the washes correct. The wire wool in vinegar mix isn't working for me and its been sitting for three weeks

Great job,. The digital camo scheme looks fantastic. You'd never be able to do that any other way.
Thanks for sharing your water dipping experience.
Cheers
