Let's start on the figures. The plan, darkish skin (been in the sun!), khaki-ish trousers & shirt. Yellow tabard type waist coat type thing, and yellow helmet. All depending on what paints I dig out of the box and like the look of.

Let's start with the skin.

I think I'll lighten it up a bit on the highlights with some lighter flesh colour, then see where it goes... Don't expect marvels painting the trousers, they will hardly be seen.

The two most worst colours to deal with.... White and yellow!

Really good work Mark!

Thanks guys. The white base under the yellow makes it very bright. I think it needs a touch of orange to make it look a bit more realistic. Perhaps a tiny drop of Rescue Orange to darken and warm it? What do you think?

This one has also been sitting not he shelf of doom, almost finished for far too long! I t was really only the tools and a couple of finishing touches that needed doing, so a few evenings work, and it's finished!

This was a fun project, not to be taken too seriously. An old Tamiya kit which went together nicely. Weathering yellow was interesting. Not sure if I've got it right or not. The intention was to have a sort of streaked, rain washed faded effect. I know the sun gives uncared for paint a chalky effect, which doesn't streak, but that would look a bit uninteresting.

As always, comments and criticism are welcome.
