Still nothing on the website.

My brother is a bus/train/tram spotter so will be trying to twist his arm into wanting it... with me building it for a price!

I've subscribed too, and agree with Migwel. Now, how long will it be before the Daily Mail take a poke at it??

Not for me.
As I've seen said elsewhere:

130 parts.

65 parts building the bus
65 parts building the seats. LOL.

If you're a bus fan, go for it.

I'm tempted for a bit of nostalgia, I used to spend a lot of time in London many moons ago

but then again, looking at the overall price, I think I'll pass on that.

Hopefully this actually gets released in New Zealand. This would be an amazing addition to my model cabinet.

Is anyone building the bus yet? I can’t find any threads about any builds.

I am thinking of getting the bus. But the size of the screws used in this model are way out of scale. A bus of its size will need something like micro rivets or the like to end up with a model not looking like a meccano set. Will keep you informed mate.

I've started a new section for it in the Partwork cars section. I hope somebody starts to build it soon or it's going to be a very empty section!
Cheers

I am currently building the routemaster bus and I'm on issue 30/31, it's not been all plain sailing as there are some modelling skills needed.

Firstly some of the holes are too small for the screws I got around this by using a bradle, secondly some of the screws snapped when tightening them ( out with the pin drill ) the instructions with each issue aren't bad but can be a little vague, however it is shaping up to be a good model and leaves scope for adding my own details, so far the chassis and engine are nearly completed and I'm fairly satisfied with it.

If anyone isn't at this stage and needs any pointers just let me know.

Ray.
