Test or live?

The Mustang is nearly finished but I have both the Delorian and Jaguar on the go as well as the I-400 from Japan. I shouldn't really start any more until I've got a couple out of the way but this looks nice!

So many partworks, too little money!

It's not on Eaglemoss's front page, so I'm guessing another test. However, at £4.99/week and only 100 parts, I'm tempted......

@Mark

that's not quite right.

issue 1 £1.99
issue 2 £4.99
issue 3 onwards £8.99

100 weeks

total cost £888

not bad considering the DMC will cost £1157.7

Just realised! Must be a test as there is no TV advert to watch on the site :D

Ah, thanks Nick, hadn't spotted that. Suddenly lost interest now........ it's too expensive for me.

Hello

At 1/8 scale, the Batmobile (ex Lincoln Futura) can't be 50 cm long !!
The Lincoln Futura was 5.76 meter long (18.90 ft), at 1/8 scale, that's 72 centimeter.

In all the blurb that comes with issue 1 there's a 'full size' picture of the completed model.
It states 71.4cm long...

I would love to go for this if its not a test run. I subscribed to the Deagostini 1/8th Austin Mini cooper and received no issues except a key ring to say thanks for subscribing!

Has anyone got any updates or pics of the test run. Would love to know what the quality was like on this?

Is doing test runs even relevant anymore? Surely its a waste of money for the companies. A lot of people wouldn't even bother subcribing knowing its only a test run, so how accurate is it anyway for gauging interest.

Quite a lot of trail runs turned into fully fledged part works

R2D2, Millennium Falcon and the Lancaster all were trail runs - to name but a few

So pretty good business model really
