Like all these partworks of which I have built a few (Bismarck, Hood, Sov. of the Seas, Hms Surprise) the build is always disjointed parts arrive in what seems to be a totally random order. There is no progression from start to finish. Case in point here issue two, The last thing probably to be installed is the flag, why do we need it in issue 2?

That’s an easy one to answer. They have about 4 issues to get you hooked. Therefore they try to give a variety of parts and show how detailed the finished model will be. The flag is an obvious part to give early to help achieve this.

Its a test/market research,I recieved 5 parts free of charge and an apologetic letter saying that due to unforseen circumstances they have had to cancel this for the time being, exactly the same thing happened with their 18th scale X-Wing

The YouTuber is a bit of a wally. Why break it all at the end. Half built models are not strong.
The only thing I found a bit wanting was the fit of the foil foil castings. But there is obviously something more to go in the area.

I asked DeAgostini for an update on a full release and they said:

Please be advised that there has been a production delay and the series has been put on hold until further notice.

Kind Regards
DeAgostini Admin

Is that a way of saying it has been shelved?

Not necessarily. It’s a standard answer. They won’t give any info until it’s formally released.
