right decision, most partworks have been heavily reworked from test to full run -
and at the test stage, the distributor might have only made investments for the distribution of the few available test issues and nothing else -
so far I am also sitting back and chilling - the model will probably only come out after the r5 maxi turbo has finished - only one race car at a time...
as can be seen on the nuremberg toy fair, eligor is doing this - as apparently also the e-type test as well as the 1:7 scale (killed off) mini... + the lancia delta from italy...

Any news on this one anybody?

I heard whispers it's going ahead in France.
WHY can't we get it here in the UK?

nothing new in france - one possible option is, once the r5 turbo has finished (just about finishing, even if the envisaged 100 have been topped by additional parts and it's still not clear if they'll stop at 105 or maybe 110...) altaya could start another race car to replace the renault, but of course still no official statement - don't forget, the porsche carrera started out of the blue so it's simply getting a big cup of hot tea and waiting...

Sigh: The market seems to be turning towards trucks and busses, none of which capture my interest; hopefully the GT40 will make the production list this year before Amalgam does theirs, otherwise i may be eating canned soup and beans for a long time LOL

maybe timed for a certain film?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I3h9Z89U9ZA

it will be available via Journal FR of course, but there is no guarantee that you can get all the issues. Number 2 of Fast & Furious Dodge Charger came on for a few minutes and hasn't been back and this morning number 8 of the Renault 4L lasted second's. i missed that one.

Therefore my advice is to pre-order (with extra postage) if you really want this one......................like me!

Agreed: setting up to order from journeaux from the US via a translator didn't work me the last time tried; so do I need to take French language lessons or is there another way???

It took a while I am used to things now and works well for me.

I have to check on the release days to see if either of the two kits i am collecting has a new issue.

Then I have to do is order the item and then tick the box which says Oui after Mettre ma commande en attente :

see below

Hint - use Chrome and its auto translate function

That means I will have to pay now, with postage (which seems frightening) and its placed in storage to be dispatched with future orders.

Each time an order is made postage is charged. But don’t worry.

After a month I order the last item and leave the box ticked Non. When that happens, all the items purchased in the month are boxed up and a combined postage is calculated.

The over payments I have accumulated are refunded. It’s very fair.

Voulez-vous indiquer le prix sur le bon de commande ? : Oui Non

Envoi en différé
Mettre ma commande en attente : Non Oui

Gift
Do you want to indicate the price on the order form? :
Yes No
Delayed sending
Put my order on hold:
No Yes
My payment method

Thank you booth, for you response; that should make it somewhat easier when the Gt40 should/if becomes available. Are you using a credit card or Paypal to process the payments?

I just happen to use PayPal. The postage refunds are made to my PayPal nominated account. No special reason, just personal choice

Finally they did it!

and thanks booth for the hint with delivery. i was also thinking about order magazines one by one but wasn't sure that there will be money refund.
I also stack with Porsche at journaux.fr when I've missed No 96 and 97 and suddenly all collection just disappeared! But I've managed to get it directly from Altaya.fr.

BTW, if you need no.2 Dodge Challenger - i can buy you one here in Russia. Collection was just launched. But i'm not sure how to deliver it safely. you can check availability of magazines here https://www.deagoshop.ru/ru/product/for ... e-charger/

Check http://www.colisexpat.com! I ordered some VW T1 issues to Germany!

It works as long as your parcel arrives from Mo to Fr at Colis! Mine arrived on a saturday but they are closed on Sa/Su!
I emailed the French Post, explained everything and never got an answer! But they did what i wanted! I got the parcel a month later! :D
