right decision, most partworks have been heavily reworked from test to full run -
and at the test stage, the distributor might have only made investments for the distribution of the few available test issues and nothing else -
so far I am also sitting back and chilling - the model will probably only come out after the r5 maxi turbo has finished - only one race car at a time...
as can be seen on the nuremberg toy fair, eligor is doing this - as apparently also the e-type test as well as the 1:7 scale (killed off) mini... + the lancia delta from italy...

Any news on this one anybody?

I heard whispers it's going ahead in France.
WHY can't we get it here in the UK?

nothing new in france - one possible option is, once the r5 turbo has finished (just about finishing, even if the envisaged 100 have been topped by additional parts and it's still not clear if they'll stop at 105 or maybe 110...) altaya could start another race car to replace the renault, but of course still no official statement - don't forget, the porsche carrera started out of the blue so it's simply getting a big cup of hot tea and waiting...

I hope this one goes through. I’ll jump through a great many hoops to get my hands on this one! Any news?

Sigh: The market seems to be turning towards trucks and busses, none of which capture my interest; hopefully the GT40 will make the production list this year before Amalgam does theirs, otherwise i may be eating canned soup and beans for a long time LOL
