Surprised me as well Loz
Definitely a test me thinks, will check when at home.
I woke up tea time and it was sitting on my desk but haven't had chance to look at it yet. I will post pics in the morning of the first issue

Very nice, shame that I don't have the time, money or space

I take it you can only build it as a road car or sub?

I wonder if you could build it to covert to either by not gluing parts in and potentially adding magnets?

Also I really like the gifts with this. Those concept framed pics would look great with the finished car.
The more I look at this the more I want it

they do hide away the fact about the number of issues - as ever - speculating away with the 130-issue delorean we might have been warned -
a very nice addition, really wonder if they could include a road going variation, after all, it's only about hiding away the road wheels and those spats -
if it's a 007-only I'd have to think it over twice, with a combined vehicle I might be tempted...

If you search through the rather poor web page, it does say the model is built as the road car, and all the submarine parts clip on if you wish.
I'm guessing the road wheels must be easily removed or hidden to add the side panels and planes.

Tempted but I'll wait and see how the test parts look. No doubt 4-5 issues as usual.

I have read through the first issue and found no indication as to how many issues this will run to so sent an e-mail to customer support.
A couple of photos of the parts
Front bonnet, Bonnet frame, Air vent grill, Front left submersible arch cover, Front left fin (bottom), Front left fin (top)
Fin support and screws.
Parts and paint finnish looks good

I AGREE WITH MODELCARSMAN THAT THE ESPRIT MODEL WEBSITE IS RUBBISH - FOR A LARGE COMPANY IT IS VERY AMATUERISH IN THE EXTREME.

ON ANOTHER SUBJECT - WHEN WILL WE GET LA FERRARI IN THE UK - A SURE FIRE WINNER !

I'm waiting to see what happens as this is a test as my newsagent knows nothing.

I may get this, but it very much depends when (or if) it goes live and what I have on at the time.

I am having delivery problems with the Jaguar which abruptly ceased at 20. My newsagent points the finger at Menzies, as do Deagostini. Menzies are being very elusive over this.

Strangely enough, I am also getting the Mustang through the same supply chain and that has not had any interruptions at all!

Now if the Lotus goes live in France.....

Oh! MODENAMAN...... Please don't write all in caps... It is the equivalent of SHOUTING and is bad form! Thanks!
